1.Initial Review of artists idea
To get started, a “pre-production” meeting is essential in order to understand the artists objectives, the projet they envision, scope and timelines. This takes place via collaborative tools (video conference, phone).
2.Artist sends or uploads sample file
Next we will ask for a client to upload a sample file in any number of formats .mp3,.m4a,.AAC,.WAV. This will allow us to understand the artist’s initial idea.
3.Client sends initial project files
Upon agreed scope of the project and reviewed the initial file, we will ask the client to upload any initial project files to enable us to begin working. Our primary production environments is Apple Logic Pro X, but we accept files in standard formats.

Pricing and rates
This is a question potential client would ask. The answer is…it depends. Pricing is based entirely on the agreed upon scope of the project. We do not set “hourly” rates. The work we do is project-based and negotiable between ourselves and the client.
4.We begin work on the project
Per agreed upon scope we will begin the project. Once tracking is complete, we can send the synchronised files back. For mixing, a “rough mix, can be shared with the client for comments. We typically allow up to (3) revisions.
5. Final mix
After revisions upon agreement that the mix is final we will send back in multiple formats per customer request (24 and 16 bit WAV,AIFF,MP3,AAC)
6. Mastering
Mastering involves balancing and providing final polish to a mix. Clients may wish to have different loudness profiles for streaming services, CD’s and even vinyl. We perform mastering on our own mixes or accept 2-Track mixes from 3rd parties.
